Good day! Welcome to the first of a series of posts about how to use swimwear to accentuate your favorite body part. We'll start (har har) with the thighs, so they'll be exposed regardless of which swimsuit you select.
We have good news for you if you're debating whether a two-piece or one-piece bathing suit will be more flattering for your curves. Molokini's and one-piece swimsuits can be almost as leg-lengthening as bikinis, so go with your usual choice. When it comes to the thighs, the cut of the swimsuit matters more than the number of parts.
Read on for tips, tricks, and of course, all the swimsuits you’ll want to pick up if you plan to proudly display your gorgeous gams at the beach.

High Rise, High Cut Bikini From MY REAL MOOD: Why It Works
As previously said, the dimensions of your swimsuit are most important, and a bikini with a high-rise waist and a high-cut hip is especially appealing if you adore your thighs.
What is the reason for this? A high-cut hip, for starters, reveals more leg, raising the line of leg and making it seem longer. And there's the symmetry of a high-cut hip/high-rise waist bikini––the bareness of all the thigh is balanced out by the high-rise waistline. This style effectively provides more airtime to the parts you want to show off and less to the parts you don't.
Although you may recall these types of bikinis from the 1980s and early 1990s, we're pleased to say that the high-cut hip/high-rise waist style is looking seriously trendy and ready to take over this season.

Option 1: Ribbed Bandeau High Cut Bikini from MY REAL MOOD:
The Ribbed Aqua Bandeau High Cut Bikini is a prime example of the vintage revival. Because of the ribbed fabric, the bandeau-style cover, and the high-rise banded waist, this two-piece swimsuit has all of the slick retro appeal.
The bold aqua tone is projecting serious late 80s Miami vibes in all the right ways, making us want to reach out for that suntan oil and paint our toenails in cotton candy pink.

Option 2: Green And Leafy Ruffled Strappy Bikinifrom MY REAL MOOD:
The Green And Leafy Ruffled Strappy Bikini, on the other hand, is a brand-new style of two-piece swimsuit. It has the same high-rise waist/high-cut hip silhouette for full leg exposure, but with a less anticipated mix-and-match look. We adore the irreverent mix of a solid ruffled bikini top and a tropical leaf-print bikini bottom, as well as the ladder-like belts at the sides and decolleté––it all comes together to create an airy and lighthearted theme, perfect for the beach.
Option 3: Tricolor Striped Triangle Bikini from MY REAL MOOD
With its simple silhouette and traditional striped pattern, the Tricolor Striped Triangle Bikini is another way to show off those thighs. This two-piece is similarly cut to the other bikinis we mentioned above, and it's distinctly brazen––and nude.
Because of the high-rise and limited fabric coverage in the front and back of this bikini, you'll want to make sure you're on good terms with your waxing esthetician before you put it on. This two-piece is perfect for jutting out the hip bones and minimising tan lines, but it's not for the faint of heart.

One-Piece With Cutout Sides from MY REAL MOOD: Why It Works
You didn’t think we’d leave one-piece swimsuits out of this conversation, did you? No way! A one-piece bathing suit can be just as leg-enhancing as a bikini, especially if it’s cut higher up on the hips.
Another trick to make the eye believe your leg is longer than it actually is: side cutouts. Because there’s skin exposed right above the hip, the eye is drawn upwards, giving the impression that your legs go on forever…or more specifically, that they extend beyond the trunk of the swimsuit.

Option 1: White O-Rings Cutout One-Piece Swimsuit from MY REAL MOOD
If you can't decide between a bikini and a one-piece swimsuit, choose the White O-Rings Cutout One-Piece Swimsuit, which has a side of intrigue. Because of the stark white paint and bulky ring hardware, the tone is Mod, giving this swimsuit a 60s-inspired twist. The side cutouts just point at what's going on in the back––the reverse side of this suit is just as exposed.

Option 2: Ribbed Cut Out Scoop One-Piece Swimsuit from MY REAL MOOD
The Ribbed Yellow Cut Out Scoop Back One-Piece Swimsuit checks all the boxes if you're more of a maillot girl who needs the same leg-lengthening effect as a high-cut bikini but with more padding. Side cutouts and a high-cut leg are included, but the back is all one piece for a more discreet look. The sunshine yellow hue is predicted to be the season's colour, so you'll be right on trend.

Option 3: Bright Day Shirring One Piece Swimsuit from MY REAL MOOD
It has to be the Bright Day Shirring One Piece Swimsuit because you want to experiment with proportion in a glam and bold way. The ultra-ultra-ultra-high-cut leg here extends right up to the waistline, with straps at the hips that preview what’s waiting around the back. The cheeky, web-like, bum-cleavage-revealing posterior of this swimsuit look right at home on the beaches of Copacabana and South Beach. The nearly-neon orange color illuminates your skin and looks especially lovely on medium to dark tones.
Low Rise, High Cut Bikini from MY REAL MOOD: Why It Works
No issue if you want a medium rise over a high waist. If the dimensions are right, any swimsuit style will accentuate the hips. A high-cut thigh, for example, will draw attention to your thighs whether you're wearing a low-rise or high-waist bottom.
A low-rise bikini has the added benefit of allowing you to move the sides higher up on the hips if needed; high-rise bikini bottoms are more difficult to adjust. This style of bikini has always been prominent, though it has recently been overshadowed by boy shorts and other low-slung styles. We're thrilled it's returning this season with a vengeance!

Option 1: Floral Low Rise High Cut Bikini Bottom from MY REAL MOOD
Looking for a low-rise bikini with plenty of leg room? The Light Green Floral Low Rise High Cut Bikini Bottom is the perfect fit for you. The artistic drawings of daisies all over this avocado-hued pick provide a sweet counterpoint to the spiciness of the cut.
Since this bottom is sold separately, you can pair it with one of two contrasting (but complementary) bikini tops: a knot-front bralette or a plain bandeau. Alternatively, depending on your tolerance for purposefully clashing boho-inspired styles, pair it with a bikini top in a contrasting pattern.

Option 2: Dotted Double Straps Bikini from MY REAL MOOD
Instead, we recommend the Dotted Double Straps Bikini to lovers of coordinated bikinis. The solid black bottom has all the leg-lengthening results you're hoping for, with extra surprises in store, thanks to its high-cut hip and low-rise waist. The top of the bikini is a mix of solid and Dotted print, with alluring cutouts and extra decorative straps.
Somehow, this not only makes sense together but also looks fierce, too.

String Bikini from MY REAL MOOD: Why It Works
String bikinis have an overwhelming minimalist appeal: a classic triangle top and string bottom are plain, sleek, and still in style. The string bikini is also a perfect choice if you want to emphasise your best physical feature: your legs.
String bikini bottoms lengthen the stems by eliminating visual barriers, enabling the eye to see all of the leg at once without being distracted by extraneous cloth or decorative details. However, if you want to make the most of your curves in a string bikini, keep the bottom slung low on the curves.
You can also control the fit with self-tied string bikinis. This prevents the wearer from getting "cut off" in unusual ways, as can occur with other styles of bikinis, tank suits, and one-piece swimsuits. Simply tie the sides in the most flattering places on your body.

Option 1: Printed String Bikini from MY REAL MOOD
The Printed String Bikini is perhaps the most fun you can have with such a simple style, harnessing mermaid mojo abound. The seashells on the triangle top are eye-catching, but it's the self-tying sides on the bottom that really call attention to your sexy legs. Since it virtually demands to be matched with a sandy tootsies, this is the bikini to pack for your next trip to the beach.

Option 2:String Bikini from MY REAL MOOD
The String Bikini, which shows a string shape but fixed straps at the shoulders, would appeal to enthusiasts. The vivid hue is a welcome change from the more conventional string bikini colours (such as heavy blue and basic white), and it doesn't clash with the sleek fashion. Position the string sides high on the hips to bring out the full length of the leg, without all the fuss of tying and retying the straps a million and two times.
